Utilize knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to inform therapy techniques and progress tracking. Educate patients and their families about speech development milestones and strategies for improvement. Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans accordingly to achieve optimal outcomes. Collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to coordinate care and support patient goals. Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress reports in compliance with regulatory standards. Experience Prior experience working with pediatric populations is highly preferred, especially in early intervention or school settings. Demonstrated expertise in speech therapy techniques for a variety of communication disorders. School experience is considered a strong asset for understanding educational environments and student needs. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy related to speech production, and medical terminology enhances effective treatment planning. Proven ability to perform thorough patient assessments and develop evidence-based intervention strategies. Familiarity with pediatric development stages and early intervention practices is advantageous for supporting young children's communication growth.
