Mississippi Behavior Services (MBS) is an established ABA therapy and home and community-based services provider in Southaven, Mississippi. We serve children and young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities through clinic-based ABA, and partnerships with local school districts. We are adding our first Speech-Language Pathologist to the team and are looking for a licensed CCC-SLP who wants to build a pediatric caseload with real clinical autonomy, strong administrative support, and a schedule that fits their life. About the Role You will provide speech-language evaluations and therapy to children ages 2-15 receiving ABA services at our Southaven clinic. Most sessions are clinic-based. Our BCBAs and behavior technicians will carry your communication goals into ABA sessions, and you will have their support in generalizing what you teach. Our administrative team handles insurance authorizations, billing, and scheduling, so your time goes to clients and documentation, not paperwork chasing. Clinical Independence The SLP leads all speech-language assessment and treatment decisions. You are not supervised by the BCBAs; you are a peer member of the treatment team. We welcome total communication, AAC, gestalt language processing, and neurodiversity-affirming approaches.

What Flexible Actually Means Hours:

As few as [10-12] hours per week, up to a full-time caseload of [30-40] hours.

Days:

The clinic operates Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.

Documentation:

Session notes and reports can be completed remotely.

Employment type:

W-2 employee or 1099 contractor, your choice.

Start date:

Flexible. Responsibilities Conduct speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide direct therapy targeting functional communication, language, articulation, and social communication. Assess for and implement AAC when appropriate, and train staff and caregivers on its use. Collaborate with BCBAs and behavior technicians so communication goals are supported across the child's day. Maintain timely, accurate documentation that meets insurance requirements. Communicate progress with families and participate in treatment planning meetings. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Current Mississippi SLP license (or eligibility to obtain one before start). ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required. Pediatric experience required; experience with autism, developmental disabilities, or AAC strongly preferred. Prior work in an ABA setting is not required.
