Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of young learners by providing speech and language services to K-6 students for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity offers the rewarding experience of working with a small caseload in a supportive school environment. Spanning from August 31 to June 3, you'll support five elementary students, collaborating with educators and families to foster communication growth and student success. Utilize your SLP expertise to create engaging and effective therapy sessions, tracking progress and helping students reach their goals. This unique schedule combines approximately a half day each week at one elementary school with a full day dedicated to a nearby site, allowing you to connect with students across different ages and backgrounds while maintaining work-life flexibility.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred Ability to provide speech therapy to elementary-age students Strong communication and organizational skills
Your Role:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy to a small group of K-6 students Design individualized treatment plans in collaboration with school staff and families Maintain accurate, compliant documentation and progress notes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team Split time between two elementary buildings for a varied weekly schedule Experience the satisfaction of guiding students toward their communication potential, all while enjoying a balanced workload.
