Job Description

Seeking a skilled and compassionate Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) fluent in Spanish and English to provide vital services for students in the greater Durham and Apex, NC area. Step into an itinerant school-based contract positionoffering a flexible part-time schedule (approximately 27 hours across 3.5 days per week) with the option for full-time placement for qualified professionals. This role spans coverage across several campuses, ensuring every student has access to the language support they need to thrive academically.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver bilingual speech-language evaluations, diagnostics, and therapy services to Spanish-speaking students in diverse school settings. Create and oversee individualized education plans (IEPs) ensuring they are culturally and linguistically appropriate. Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams, families, and administrators in meetings and on case coordination. Utilize scheduled indirect administrative hours for planning, documentation, and team collaboration. Travel between assigned schools, with driving time fully compensated during your workday.
Qualifications:
Masters in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders. Hold, or be eligible for, state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a must.
Preferred:
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). Ability to pass background and fingerprinting clearances.
