Job Description

Step into an exciting contract opportunity supporting students communication and learning in an elementary school environment! Youll be joining a dedicated team to provide Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services onsite in a supportive school setting from now through the end of the current school year. Both local and travel professionals are encouraged to apply, and hybrid models can be considered. Flexibility around caseload and location will be provided, with assignments finalized after placement.
Key Qualifications:
Active SLP license or eligibility in North Carolina SLP-CCC, SLP-CF, or SLPA credentials welcome Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged students Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, but not required
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver assessment, intervention, and consultation services to elementary students with communication needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting language, speech, and social communication goals Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and contribute to IEP development Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student success Use a mix of onsite and hybrid/telepractice service delivery as appropriate Possibly supervise or mentor SLPAs (if qualified)
