Qualifications & Experience:
Active North Carolina SLP License required Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric caseloads preferred Passion for working with children and helping them reach communication goals Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to maximize student success Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, services, and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Provide support and resources to teachers and guardians to facilitate carryover of strategies This position offers hourly compensation ranging from $43 to $48, reflecting your skills and expertise.
