Qualifications and Experience:

Active SLP license in North Carolina Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required Experience working with elementary-aged students strongly preferred Ability to travel between two school sites within the workday Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with staff, students, and families Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized care

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations, screenings, and diagnoses of speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and ensure effective interventions Maintain thorough records of assessments, interventions, and student progress Provide direct therapy services both individually and in small groups Attend meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
