Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in North Carolina Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) Prior experience delivering pediatric and school-based SLP services preferred Strong ability to address the unique needs of elementary and middle school-aged children Familiarity with the ECATS system (or willingness to learn) Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy in alignment with IEP requirements Manage a caseload averaging 30 students, primarily in elementary and middle school Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans targeting communication and language goals Maintain accurate, timely documentation using the ECATS system Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress Use provided therapy materials and resources to achieve optimal outcomes Participate in team meetings and IEP reviews as needed Perks of this
