Qualifications and Experience:

Hold a valid North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license. Earned CCC or are completing CFY. Previous experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary students. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Skilled in creating and implementing effective therapy plans. Comfortable with IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation. A team-player attitude with adaptability and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary school students. Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop individualized education programs (IEPs). Maintain thorough records of student progress and participate in multidisciplinary meetings. Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify students in need of services. Support and guide students toward achieving their communication goals in classroom and school settings.
