Job Description

Make a lasting impact supporting diverse learners as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist serving Spanish-speaking students across multiple educational settings near Durham, NC. This contract opportunity offers a part-time schedule of approximately 27 hours per week (3.5 days), with flexibility for those seeking full-time placement. The position spans the current and upcoming school years, running through June 2027, and welcomes both local and travel candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct bilingual (Spanish/English) speech-language evaluations, diagnostics, and therapy for students across several school campuses. Create, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students cultural and linguistic background. Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and build strong relationships with educators, administrators, and families. Attend virtual meetings and utilize allocated administrative time for essential planning and documentation. Travel between assigned school locations during the day, with driving time fully compensated.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders. Active state SLP license, or eligibility to obtain before starting. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred. Experience working with pediatric and school-based populations; teletherapy experience a plus. Background clearance including fingerprinting.
