Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered Previous experience working in a school setting preferred Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication abilities Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapeutic strategies Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in individual and group settings Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure consistent support Monitor student progress and document outcomes according to school and district requirements Offer guidance on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as needed Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in student planning This contract position is set in a welcoming school environment near Franklin, NC, providing a rewarding opportunity to make an impact during the academic year.
