Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a dynamic educational setting for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity is designed for a dedicated professional ready to work onsite with a K-12 student population, making a direct impact on communication development and academic success.
Key Qualifications:
Active North Carolina SLP license required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Previous experience in school-based settings working with K-12 caseloads is strongly preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to work full-time, 37.5 hours per week, on campus for the duration of the assignment
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders Provide direct therapy sessions according to IEP recommendations Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support student goals Complete comprehensive evaluations, document progress, and contribute to IEP meetings Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district policies and guidelines
