A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

About Us:
Coastal Speech Therapy is a patient-focused practice with offices in Beulaville, Goldsboro, Jacksonville, Nashville, Louisburg, & Wilmington, NC. Licensed by the American Speech Language Hearing Association and the North Carolina Board of Examiners, our therapists are specially trained to examine and treat speech limitations within both children and adults, fostering improved abilities and guiding them towards reaching their full potential. About the
Position:
Seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to work in Goldsboro, NC with both children and adults. 100% clinic-based role: no travel, schools or home visits! New grads encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients' needs for therapy
  • Therapists are encouraged to practice collaborative therapy alongside the other disciplines in the clinic to provide the best care to our patients.
  • Identify goals for treatment and develop plan of care

Requirements:
  • Graduate from accredited Speech Language Pathologist program
  • Current licensure in good standing
  • Pediatric experience preferred
