Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will work with children, to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders and/or feeding disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping patients improve their communication skills and overall quality of life. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of early intervention techniques and have experience in pediatric settings. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication abilities. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs. Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions tailored to each patient's requirements. Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to support the patient's progress. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate patients and their families about speech-language disorders and effective strategies for improvement. Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes. Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology through continuous professional development. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and early intervention strategies. Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred. Strong assessment skills with the ability to develop effective treatment plans. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with school-based therapy practices is a plus. A compassionate approach to patient care that fosters trust and encourages progress.
