This contract-to-hire opportunity is located near Leicester and Waynesville, NC, offering 20-25 hours per week with the potential to discuss full-time hours. You'll work primarily with pediatric populations, providing direct services in a collaborative educational environment. Compensation for this role is competitive, with rates ranging from $40 to $52 per hour.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Current North Carolina state licensure or eligibility for licensure ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply Prior experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare settings Competence in teletherapy preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage caseload and paperwork efficiently

Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy to students on-site or via teletherapy Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports Offer support and strategies to teachers and caregivers for carryover of skills Adapt services to meet a diverse student population's needs This role is perfect if you thrive in a flexible school setting and enjoy building relationships with young learners and their support teams.
