A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

2026-2027 Soliant is working with an excellent school district in Marion, North Carolina that is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive educational team and make a meaningful impact on students' communication success.

Job Description:

Full-Time August 10, 2026 - May 28, 2027 Monday-Friday schedule 37.5 hours per week Caseload of approximately 43 students Provide evaluations, therapy services, and support for students with speech and language needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain required documentation and participate in IEP meetings

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active North Carolina SLP License ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Strong preference for candidates who already hold an active North Carolina SLP license Excellent communication and collaboration skills
