Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling role supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist at an elementary school near Morganton, North Carolina for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract opportunity offers a meaningful way to contribute expertise in speech and language development, making a real impact within a close-knit school community. Your assignment will span from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, structured as a Monday-Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week. You'll manage a manageable caseload of approximately 43 students, providing essential assessments, treatment, and interventions that enhance communication and learning outcomes for children in their formative years.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience with pediatric or elementary school-age populations strongly preferred Familiarity with school-based SLP practices and processes Prefer candidates already holding an active North Carolina SLP license Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Role Responsibilities:
