Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Contribute your speech-language pathology expertise in a contract position serving students near Mount Airy, NC. This role offers the opportunity to provide impactful services in a school-based environment, supporting students' communication and learning success. Utilize your skills in pediatrics, school therapy, and teletherapy as you collaborate with education teams and families.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Valid state licensure/certification as an SLP (CCC or CFY welcome) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred or eligibility to complete CFY Experience working with pediatric and school-based populations Comfortable providing services both onsite and via teletherapy platforms Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills Familiarity with IEP processes and collaboration with educators and families

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for students Deliver direct therapy—both in-person and virtually—tailored to student needs Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals Maintain timely, accurate records and progress notes in accordance with school and legal requirements Communicate professionally and compassionately with students, teachers, and parents Support diverse learners across age groups and levels of need Stepping into this contract opportunity, you'll work in a collaborative educational setting alongside dedicated professionals.
