Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Help shape student success and make a lasting impact as a Speech Language Pathologist during the 2026/2027 school year! This is a full-time, contract opportunity in a supportive school environment serving students near the New London, NC area. Use your expertise to help children develop essential communication skills and thrive both academically and socially. What we're seeking: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active North Carolina SLP license Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA Experience working in a school setting is preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to design, implement, and monitor student-specific intervention plans Duties and responsibilities: Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop and deliver individualized treatment programs for students Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans Provide direct therapy and consultative services within the school setting Empower students to achieve their communication goals and support their overall academic growth Enjoy a rewarding experience with these benefits: Competitive hourly compensation from $43 to $48 per hour Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance options Opportunity to work a full school year in a dynamic, student-focused setting Bring your passion and expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist to this vibrant educational community!
