Key Qualifications:

Current, active North Carolina SLP license (required) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Demonstrated experience working within school-based or pediatric settings Skilled working with assistive listening technology Flexibility to work with varying ages, primarily elementary students For those open to leadership: willingness to supervise an SLPA if the need arises

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and direct intervention for students with communication disorders Write and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), maintaining clear communication with educators, parents, and support staff Utilize and support the use of assistive listening and communication devices in daily therapy Maintain timely and accurate records per school and district requirements Foster a welcoming, supportive environment to empower each students growth and communication skills If applicable, supervise and mentor Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in accordance with state and school policy

Scheduling & Term Details:
