Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist at an elementary school near Sanford, NC. This onsite, full-time position offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated educational team and support children's communication development in a nurturing environment from now through the end of the 2026-2027 academic year.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current North Carolina SLP license in good standing Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) considered Demonstrated experience working in school-based settings Familiarity with IEP processes and caseload management Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with students, families, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students Perform comprehensive evaluations, and interpret results within the school context Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Document services and maintain student records in compliance with district and state guidelines Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide recommendations for classroom accommodations Offer consultative support and collaborate with educators and families
