9541856-28625 Job Description Exciting opportunities await skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) eager to make a difference in educational settings near Mocksville, NC. Were looking for dedicated professionals ready for full-time contract placements for the 20262027 school year, starting in the fall. Flexibility is key, as two unique roles are availableone to cover a maternity leave from October to December 2026 (split between a middle and an elementary school, serving about 45 students, including those in self-contained classes using communication devices), followed by a replacement for a retiring SLP from January through June 2027 (serving an elementary caseload of about 55 students). The same candidate may seamlessly transition between these roles for continuous engagement through June.

What were seeking:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current North Carolina licensure or eligibility for licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligible Clinical Fellow (CFY) Experience with pediatrics in school settings preferred Familiarity with communication devices and supporting students in self-contained classrooms Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills Day-to-day expectations: Conduct speech and language assessments to determine intervention needs Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, adapting interventions as needed Support students using augmentative or alternative communication technologies Work closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student success Maintain clear, timely documentation in accordance with school policies These full-time contract placements are an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while growing professionally in supportive schools.
