Desired Background and Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred; clinical fellows (CFY) considered Experience with school-aged children or prior school-based placement an advantage Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations Develop personalized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP requirements Deliver direct therapy services to address articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic difficulties Monitor and document student progress; adjust interventions as necessary Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student achievement and generalization of skills Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to report writing and progress updates Provide recommendations for classroom strategies and home carryover activities
