9673323-27105 Job Description Step into a meaningful role supporting students' communication and academic growth through dedicated speech-language services. This full-time opportunity encompasses 37.5 hours per week and spans the full 2026-2027 school year. You'll work across PreK, elementary, and high school settings, providing a diverse range of experiences and the chance to make a broad impact. Ideal candidates for this position include both experienced Speech-Language Pathologists and those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY). Your expertise will contribute to helping students overcome barriers to learning and develop essential communication skills.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain) SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials required Prior experience in school settings is valued, though strong clinical skills from other areas are considered Skilled in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for students with diverse needs Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and students
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality direct therapy and implement evidence-based interventions for PreK through high school students Conduct screenings, evaluations, and write clear, effective reports Collaborate on IEP teams and help develop individualized goals and plans Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with school policies Provide support to teachers and caregivers to maximize students academic and social success Youll have the opportunity to foster a positive, inclusive school environment and see the tangible difference your work makes every day.
