Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact on the lives of students by bringing your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist to a dynamic school environment. This contract position is an excellent opportunity to work with students from diverse backgrounds, supporting their growth and helping them realize their full potential.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP license in North Carolina or eligible for reciprocity Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Prior experience working in schools or pediatric settings strongly preferred Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills Ability to adapt therapy techniques to a wide range of student needs
Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as indicated in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop tailored treatment plans and set measurable student goals Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support classroom success Maintain timely, accurate documentation and progress reporting Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for student support planning Offer resources and strategies to staff for enhancing communication across the school environment In this role, you'll be able to make a genuine difference in a supportive school community while expanding your professional skills.
