9589769-68037 Job Description Seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to support middle and high school students with significant disabilities in an engaging and collaborative educational setting. This part-time contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year, offering meaningful work over two days per week with flexible scheduling.
Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP for schools Prior experience delivering services in a school environment preferred Strong communication and organizational skills for working with students, families, and education teams Dedication to fostering communication skills and supporting students with significant disabilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide onsite, direct and indirect speech/language therapy services to middle and high school students Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students unique needs and abilities Document interventions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with state and district requirements Collaborate with educators, paraprofessionals, and families to create an inclusive learning environment Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and student goal setting Employ evidence-based strategies and innovative approaches to promote communication development This contract position runs from August 13, 2026, through May 19, 2027, totaling 15-16 hours per week.
