Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your passion for speech-language pathology to a dynamic educational setting where your expertise will empower students to reach their full communication potential. Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current or eligible Nebraska state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC or CFY considered) Understanding of school-based therapy practices and IEP development Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families Experience with diverse student populations and varying speech/language needs Ability to organize time, manage a moderate caseload, and document services effectively
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students across grade levels Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) Provide direct therapy to students with articulation, language, voice, and fluency disorders Collaborate with teachers, special educators, families, and other support staff to facilitate student success Maintain accurate records in line with state and school district requirements Participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities Foster a positive, encouraging therapy environment that promotes student growth Step into a role that makes a lasting impact each day as you help students build confidence and essential life skills.
