Speech-Language PathologistPosition SummaryWe are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. The SLP will develop individualized treatment plans, provide therapy, monitor progress, and support patients in improving communication and functional abilities.
Responsibilities Evaluate patients' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Provide therapeutic interventions for communication and swallowing disorders. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy strategies and home programs. Recommend appropriate communication strategies or assistive devices when needed. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Participate in care planning and patient progress reviews. Follow patient safety, infection control, and professional practice standards.
Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in the applicable state. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or required based on applicable requirements. Previous clinical or healthcare experience preferred. Strong assessment, communication, and clinical reasoning skills. Ability to provide patient-centered care and work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
