Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners with communication needs for the 2026-2027 academic year. Two skilled Speech-Language Pathologists are sought to assist K-2 students—primarily those with autism and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) needs—within a collaborative, well-resourced school setting near Nashua, NH. This full-time position (32.5-37.5 hours per week) runs from August 2026 through June 2027 and focuses on creating engaging, individualized interventions for a small caseload of up to 10 students per SLP. A dedicated classroom team, including RBTs and paraprofessionals, provides vital daily support, allowing you to focus on delivering effective speech and language therapy.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Active Speech-Language Pathology license Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Demonstrated experience in a school-based role, particularly with K-2 students Familiarity with AAC devices and interventions for students with autism Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and implement individualized therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services within classroom settings Develop, document, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in coordination with educators, parents, and other team members Train and collaborate with classroom staff, including RBTs and paras, on the use of AAC and best practices Track student progress and adjust therapeutic interventions as needed Take your expertise where it is most needed and help shape a supportive, communicative learning environment for young children.
