9674351-03867 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract role supporting elementary and middle school students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This opportunity offers a full-time schedule with flexibility for part-time consideration to accommodate a variety of professional needs. Youll provide vital speech and language services to students in grades 3-5 and at the middle school level, collaborating closely with educational teams and helping diverse learners make important progress. Your expertise will empower students communication skills and foster confidence in the classroom.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active Speech-Language Pathology license for the state required CCC-SLP credential (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) preferred Demonstrated professional experience in school settings, particularly grades 3-8 or similar age groups Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and fellow therapists Solid documentation and reporting abilities, with attention to IEP compliance
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy services per IEPs Complete assessments, contribute to eligibility determinations, and develop measurable student goals Collect and interpret data to track progress Engage in team meetings, family conferences, and multidisciplinary planning Contribute to a positive and supportive school environment, advocating for students communication needs This position begins in August and runs through June, with a typical Monday through Friday schedule of 35-37.5 hours per week, though part-time schedules can be discussed.
