Job Description

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) / Speech-Language Assistant (SLPA/SLA) — $42-60/hr | High School | Salem, NH KindSpire Education is hiring Speech-Language Professionals for a high school position in the Salem, NH area for the 2026-2027 school year. We are currently seeking both Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Assistants (SLPAs/SLAs) for a consistent, school-based position working with high school students.

Part-time school contract Compensation Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP): $55-60/hr Speech-Language Assistant (SLPA/SLA): $42-45/hr Weekly pay Consistent Monday-Friday schedule 25 hours per week School-year assignment Dedicated staffing support Responsibilities SLP Provide speech-language services to high school students. Support students in meeting their IEP goals. Conduct assessments and develop appropriate treatment strategies. Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families. Participate in IEP meetings and other school-based meetings. Support students' communication skills related to academics, social development, and post-secondary goals.
SLPA / SLA
Provide speech and language services under the direction and supervision of an SLP. Work with students individually or in small groups as directed. Assist with implementation of students' speech-language goals. Collect data and maintain appropriate documentation. Collaborate with teachers and school staff. Support students' communication and language development. Requirements SLP Valid New Hampshire SLP license or eligibility to practice in New Hampshire. Appropriate SLP credentials. School-based experience preferred. High school or secondary-school experience is a plus.
