Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Transform your summer by making a difference as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school environment supporting Extended School Year (ESY) programs. This contract opportunity near Absecon, NJ welcomes skilled SLPs eager to empower students and foster growth. Whether you have your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are pursuing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), your expertise can have a meaningful impact during this rewarding assignment.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders required Active New Jersey Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong CFY candidates encouraged to apply Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams Understanding of school-based documentation and IEP compliance is a plus
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students within ESY programming Develop and implement individualized therapy goals and interventions aligned with IEPs Conduct evaluations, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings as needed Collaborate regularly with educators, parents, and support staff to maximize student success Maintain thorough and timely documentation adhering to state and district requirements Utilize creative strategies to engage learners in a supportive, encouraging environment Working with dedicated educators in a supportive setting, you'll find professional fulfillment while helping students progress.
