A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Home-based care in the area of your choice. Looking for energetic Pediatric Speech Therapists licensed in NJ to provide Home Care. The ideal candidate is a skilled professional who is passionate about delivering quality home care and making a real difference in people's lives.
Responsibilities:
Assess patients in their homes and develop an appropriate treatment plan with measurable goals and time frames Provide SLP treatments to patients in the comfort of their homes Prepare and submit clinical and progress summaries based on identified and attained goals Ensure that other treating medical professionals have the necessary information to appropriately evaluate the patient
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in SLP or higher from an accredited SLP program Valid PA state license to practice SLP and NJ registration

$100.00 - $130.00 per hour
