Desired Qualifications & Experience:

Hold an active SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Previous school-based or pediatric experience, preferably with autistic and nonverbal populations Strong understanding of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies Compassionate, patient, and adaptable communicator Ability to work collaboratively with educators, staff, and families Clinical Fellowships are not eligible for this role

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to kindergarten students, tailoring interventions for primarily nonverbal, autistic learners Develop and implement individualized communication goals within IEP guidelines Provide recommendations for AAC devices and strategies to support functional communication Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate communication objectives into classroom routines Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
