Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | East Hanover, New Jersey Soliant - 3.9 East Hanover, NJ Job Details Full-time | Contract $47.13 - $67.13 an hour 6 days ago Qualifications Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Speech-Language Pathology License Student-centered approaches (student motivation techniques) Full Job Description Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. As a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, your expertise will support pediatric learners from September 28, 2026, through either April 12 or April 19, 2027. What you bring:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist License (CCC-SLP required) Previous experience serving pediatric populations in schools or healthcare settings Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders Strong organizational and documentation skills Ability to collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families Compassionate, student-centered approach to therapy Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Your responsibilities: Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services in accordance with IEPs and district guidelines Conduct assessments and screenings to identify needs and monitor progress Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional outcomes for each student Deliver therapy through individual, small group, and/or classroom-based sessions as needed Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student success Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation Contribute to IEP meetings and support the special education process This contract position lets you focus on your passion for helping students while working alongside dedicated educational professionals.
