A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist skilled in pediatrics to serve K-12th grade students across three schools near Elizabeth, NJ. The position is available for immediate start, allowing candidates the flexibility to work 34 days per week, with 5 days possible if preferred, and can accommodate part or full-time schedules based on your needs.
Qualifications:
Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology license in New Jersey Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) required Demonstrated experience providing SLP services to pediatric and/or school-aged populations Ability to effectively manage a caseload of approximately 6065 students Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Familiarity with developmentally appropriate therapy approaches for diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and families Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication disorders and monitor student progress Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations Consult with staff and parents to support students communication goals within the academic setting Travel between three assigned schools as part of your weekly schedule Youll have the opportunity to work in a rewarding educational environment where your clinical expertise makes a visible difference every day.
