Essential Qualifications:
Valid New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license New Jersey Department of Education Certification Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences Clinical experience in school settings is highly valued, including familiarity with IEP processes and serving diverse student populations Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Commitment to collaborative teamwork with educators, families, and support staff
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to students in accordance with IEP objectives Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to facilitate student success Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, staff training, and professional development
