Qualifications:
Hold an active Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of New Jersey Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Experience in a school-based setting, preferably working with middle school and high school populations Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Knowledge of IEP processes and experience with goal development and progress monitoring Flexibility with caseloads and a proactive, student-centered approach
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students, focusing on individualized student needs Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for a range of communication disorders Collaborate with educators and families to support student goals Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, progress, and communications in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development as needed Adapt therapy techniques based on student response and progress
