Job Description

Make a positive impact on young learners lives as a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatrics! This contract opportunity provides the chance to work in a supportive school environment located near Jersey City, NJ. The focus is on helping children reach communication milestones, providing therapy and interventions designed for student success.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility Current New Jersey state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology Prior experience with pediatric populations in a school or clinical setting Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Proficient in developing IEP plans and maintaining accurate documentation
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech-language assessments and interpret results for students with diverse communication needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups Collaborate with educators and parents to support best outcomes for each child Maintain thorough, organized, and confidential records of assessments, progress notes, and reports Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and ongoing student evaluations In this role, your expertise will foster growth and confidence in students, giving them tools they need for academic and social success.
