9670858-07305 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students from PreK through 12th grade as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in a vibrant educational setting near Jersey City, NJ. This position is designed to cover a maternity leave, with an anticipated start date of October 1, 2026, and an end date of November 20, 2026with the potential to extend through the end of the semester. Enjoy the unique benefit of shadowing the current SLP prior to their leave to ensure a seamless transition and strong rapport with your caseload of approximately 40 students. In this in-person only role, you will work with a diverse group, including some nonverbal students. Candidates who have successfully supported children using low-tech AAC devices will find their expertise especially valued in this setting.

Desired Qualifications:

Current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from

ASHA NJDOE

(New Jersey Department of Education) certification in Speech-Language Pathology Experience with school-based caseloads spanning PreK-12 Commitment to working exclusively in-person (no teletherapy or VOCO options) Familiarity with low-tech AAC devices is strongly preferred
