Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse range of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in Pediatrics. Duties Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for patients of all ages, including early intervention and children and adolescents with speech impairments Develop individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient's needs, goals, and progress Deliver engaging therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques in both in-person and telehealth settings Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and effective communication strategies Monitor patient progress regularly, adjust therapy approaches accordingly, and document outcomes accurately within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems Educate patients and families on speech-language strategies, exercises, and home programs to reinforce therapy goals outside of sessions Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and advocacy measures to spread the word to coordinate care for patients with complex needs or disabilities Requirements Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or equivalent credential Proven experience working with pediatric populations, including early intervention services and school-based settings Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech-language pathology Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive assessments and develop effective treatment plans for individuals with speech or language impairments Experience working with individuals with disabilities across the lifespan, including geriatric patients with swallowing or communication challenges Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and delivering remote services effectively Excellent collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary teams and engaging with parents or caregivers effectively Ability to maintain detailed documentation in EMR/EHR systems while adhering to confidentiality standards Join us in empowering individuals through expert communication support!
