Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active SLP licensure in Texas Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred Ability to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Adaptability and comfort working with diverse student populations

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in 1-2 classrooms. Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student outcomes. Provide SLPA supervision, guidance, and support as needed. Maintain accurate records and contribute to the IEP process. Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance student participation and progress. Attend meetings and communicate progress with school teams.
