Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - 3514282
Location:
Orange, NJ A Skilled Nursing Facility in Orange, NJ is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide evaluation and treatment services to short-term rehabilitation and long-term care residents. This is a full-time, permanent role requiring prior experience in a Skilled Nursing or post-acute setting. The SLP will work with medically complex residents, focusing on dysphagia management, cognitive-communication therapy, and functional speech interventions. Key Responsibilities Evaluate residents for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide dysphagia management and perform bedside swallowing evaluations Deliver cognitive-communication and speech/language therapy Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with Medicare guidelines Participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings Support safe discharge planning and continuity of care Collaborate with nursing, dietary, and rehab teams Required Qualifications Active New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist license required Minimum 1+ year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or post-acute rehab setting required Strong experience with dysphagia management Working knowledge of Medicare Part A and Part B documentation standards Ability to manage a productive caseload in a SNF environment Strong interdisciplinary communication skills Compensation & Structure Full-time, permanent position Competitive compensation based on experience Stable caseload in a Skilled Nursing setting Supportive interdisciplinary rehab team
