Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students communication and language needs in a dynamic school environment near Piscataway, NJ. This position focuses on delivering high-quality pediatric speech-language pathology services to a diverse student population, collaborating with educators and families to help every child thrive.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Hold current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New Jersey. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; will consider Clinical Fellows. Experience or strong interest in pediatric speech therapy within a school setting. Solid communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to create and implement effective, individualized therapy plans aligned with educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders. Develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs. Document progress, maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines, and participate in IEP meetings. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support each student's educational and developmental growth. Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions; adapt techniques as necessary for virtual or in-person environments. Offer consultative support to education teams to maximize classroom integration for students with communication challenges.
