Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an exciting opportunity supporting students in a dynamic middle and high school environment this academic year! Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to a contract role that allows you to make a meaningful impact with a welcoming school community. This full-time position offers 4-5 days each week throughout the school year. Your background serving pediatric and adolescent populations in school settings will serve you well as you collaborate with educators, families, and students to foster communication skills that pave the way for academic success and personal growth.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Demonstrated experience working in school-based or pediatric SLP roles Strong knowledge of IEP process and best practices for school settings Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities Comfortable working with middle and high school students
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students Develop individualized treatment plans and implement therapy sessions Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student needs Maintain documentation and contribute to IEP meetings Provide consultation to staff on strategies to promote communication in the classroom Foster a positive and encouraging environment for student growth
