Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact on young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a thriving school setting near Swedesboro, NJ! This contract opportunity seeks dedicated professionals for two engaging roles: one full-time position in a PreK/K building (5 days per week), and another flexible 3-5 days per week in a 4th/5th grade building. Both options offer a rewarding chance to support students at crucial stages of their academic and social development.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Valid New Jersey SLP license (or eligibility to obtain) Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and staff Commitment to evidence-based practices Good organizational and time management abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough evaluations and screenings to identify students' speech, language, and communication needs Develop tailored intervention plans focused on each student's unique goals Deliver engaging therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to foster student success Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress, and IEP goals Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Provide consultative support and resources to classroom staff when needed This position offers the chance to foster communication and confidence in students, all within a supportive and collaborative educational environment.
