Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing expert speech and language services to elementary students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. This role starts as soon as possible and extends through mid-June 2027, offering the chance to make a lasting difference in the Toms River, NJ area. Working with resource students, your focus will be on developing articulation and language skills within a supportive elementary setting.

Qualifications & Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience with school-aged populations, especially elementary students, preferred Understanding of best practices for articulation and language intervention Strong collaborative skills to partner with educators and families Excellent organizational and communication abilities

Responsibilities:

Plan, conduct, and document individual and group therapy sessions for resource students, targeting articulation and language goals Assess speech and language abilities through standardized and informal tools Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Participate in team meetings, student evaluations, and parent conferences Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress Provide resources and strategies for teachers and caregivers to support carryover of skills
