Key Qualifications:
Hold current CCC-SLP certification (required; SLP-CF or SLPA not accepted) Demonstrated background in educational settings, specifically with a school-based focus Proven ability to work independently while collaborating with staff and families Previous experience serving preK-8th grade students is highly valued Strong organizational and communication skills, especially for IEP processes
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver speech therapy services for approximately 55 preK-8th grade students Develop, write, and maintain IEPs; manage all case documentation Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, working in tandem with multidisciplinary teams Provide support and expertise district-wide, primarily across an elementary and middle school in one buildingwith the flexibility to serve 2 external preschools as needed Help students develop communication skills that support their academic and social success This full-time schedule involves 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with the start date as soon as possible. The contract is designed to continue until a permanent candidate is identified and begins.
