Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing speech-language services in vibrant elementary school settings for Fall 2026! This is an exceptional 12-week contract opportunity offering full-time hours (35+ hours per week) beginning in September. You'll be placed in engaging, supportive environments where you'll work onsite alongside dedicated educators. Three positions are available—two at elementary campuses with high Autism and Preschool populations serving students in grades K-5, and one at a location to be determined. These roles focus on assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech or language disorders, helping students reach their full communication potential.
Ideal candidates will have:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current NJ SLP License and valid NJ SLS Certification Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) welcome with external supervision arranged independently (district cannot provide supervision) Experience in school-based or pediatric settings, especially with Autism and Preschool populations, is highly desirable Passion for collaboration and advocacy within multidisciplinary teams Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Availability to work onsite throughout the assignment Key responsibilities include: Providing direct speech-language therapy services to students with diverse needs Conducting assessments and contributing to IEP development Collaborating with teachers, families, and team members to support students' progress Maintaining accurate records and progress data Engaging in school activities and ongoing professional development This assignment provides a wonderful opportunity to gain hands-on experience, make lasting connections with students, and help shape positive educational experiences.
