9631503-87124 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Rio Rancho, NM area. This position offers 37.5 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and extending through May 28th. Youll collaborate closely with educators and families, making a direct impact on a diverse caseload of 40-50 students who rely on your expertise to thrive academically and socially.

Essential Qualifications:

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current New Mexico License in Speech-Language Pathology from the New Mexico Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Board New Mexico License issued by the Public Education Department Ancillary and Support Services Ability to work effectively with elementary and middle school-aged children Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP requirements Deliver targeted therapy to students with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress and classroom success Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings Provide support, education, and ongoing guidance to classroom staff and caregivers Monitor and adjust interventions as needed to ensure student goals are being met Not only will you make a real difference in the lives of students, but youll also enjoy excellent benefits including three medical plan options, dental and vision coverage, and a matching 401k program.
